The 6 Games of Thrones Characters That We truly Love

The games of thrones is unquestionably one of the best TV series on the Air right now. Well written story line, the suspense and the fact that anyone, even the protagonist can be killed like a piece of a pawn, is its selling point.  The show is full of characters that sometimes it becomes hard to follow each and everyone. But don't worry, we are not here to confuse you. Today we are going to discuss about the 6 Games of Thrones characters we truly love.

1. Tyrion Lannister:

He is the littlest of the Lannister and undoubted the only Lannister we truly love. Nicknamed as "the imp" he is the younger brother of the Cersei and Jamie Lannister and is nothing like them. Tyrion is like a stereotypical Nerd from the 90's movies: he is physically weak and not very attractive; but at the same time he is like the most powerful character because of his smartness. He can get out of any bad situation just because of his smartness. And no doubt all be nerds watching the show identifies with him the most. And in the world full of people beating up each other we need someone who kills with the brains and not the hands, plus his speeches and dialogues are always so witty and to the point. He can just out wit anyone in just a few seconds. And it never hurts that he loves reading. I mean if a man loves to read in a place with so much chaos, death and war, he is definitely my kind of a man.

2. Arya Stark:

Arya Stark is definition of the true warrior. She has sworn to take revenge on everyone who has wronged her and her family. We all love when someone breaks the stereotypes and aspire for greater things. She is no doubt one of the most well written female characters, not just in Games of thrones, but in like all of the books I have ever read. The best thing about Arya is that she does not discriminate between people and always stand up for the right. She doesn't have any problem befriending a butcher boy and she never ever bows down in front of any king or Lord, if she knows them to be wrong. Some might say she is stubborn, but she is stubborn for a cause. She is definitely my favourite Games of Thrones character.

 3. Cersei Lannister:

Okay, okay I know we all should just hate Cersei, but I just don't. I mean there is a lot to hate about her, like her affair with her real brother, her role in killing her own husband and the worst of her sins to give birth to Joffrey. But we cannot argue with the fact that she is the most fascinating character in the television right now. She is a very strong woman and she definitely knows how to play games. And the best thing about her is, she is the most caring mother I have seen. No matter how twisted her little head is, she will stop at nothing to protect her children. She is a master manipulator and loves the game. That is all a queen should be. She is the Woman in the man's world and that is what I love about her.

4. Daenerys Targaryen:

She is the Queen by her own right. Through the whole show she has created a pretty hard and loyal army and she is the mother of three freaking Dragons. There is no reason to hate her. I have always believed that no one can write the women characters as beautifully as George RR Martin and she is the perfect example of it. Khalleesi is one of my favourites though her plot has been pretty boring for a while. It doesn't matter what obstacle is in her way. she always has a confidence and a certainty to carry her through. She might not have the wealth that keeps the Lannister family in power, or have gender on her side like the Stark men, who are kind of dead now, but Daenerys has succeeded against the odds, proving that she has a strength to overcome any obstacle in hyper-masculine world.

5. Margaery Tyrell:

She is the most central and cunning character at the king's landing right now. Marg sure knows how to play her cards right. This woman knows how to play her looks, her sexuality and her words. She knows how to play everyone. She is sexy, confident, a realist and knows what she is doing. If someone could control a brat like Joffery, they are in my good books.

6. Eddard Stark:

One thing that we learn from Ned Stark is how to be an honourable man. He possessed all the qualities a King should have. He was brave, honest, loyal, dutiful; he was indeed a great man, and that is what killed him off. I think if there was actually someone who deserved to sit on that Throne, it was definitely him. He was a kind of father every child should have and a husband every woman wants. I think, it is because of him that all the Starks are best people in the whole show. He did not crave power, he respected it and that is what made him a great Lord. I was literally crying when he died, for a while i just didn't want to see what happened next in the show.

This is where I end my list of 6 Games of Thrones character we truly love. I mean there were so many other characters that I love but these are my absolute favourite.
